Improve your customer service with the suggestion bot

Are you unsure about the use of a chatbot and would you like to see what our chatbot can do before making up your mind? Take our suggestion bot for a spin! Unlike the chatbot, the suggestion bot is not fully automated, but provides suggested answers to the customer service representative. This allows representatives to provide faster answers to questions, because they are provided with preset suggestions. The representative chooses which suggestion is most suited to the question. Suggestions can be preset in our system, and your representative still has the option of answering a question personally.

Instruct your suggestion bot 

You can get to work with the suggestion bot in the Watermelon dashboard. Set up the suggestion bot in Settings, where you can add new questions to the suggestion bot. You can add different variations on a question, so the suggestion bot learns to recognise different types of questions. For the questions, you also add suggested answers. Your customer service representative will see these suggestions when a customer asks the related question. To save a lot of time, Watermelon also allows you to import a CSV-file with frequently asked questions.

Train your suggestion bot

After you’ve added all questions and suggested answers, it’s time to start training your suggestion bot. How long it takes depends on the number of questions and suggested answers you’ve entered.  When the suggestion bot has finished its training, you’ll receive an email or pop-up notification. You can now start testing your suggestion bot. Wrong answers can be highlighted and then changed before you go live with your suggestion bot.

Once you’ve set up, trained and tested your suggestion bot, it’s time to take your bot live. Double check to see if you’ve gone through all of your answers and questions, and whether your suggestion bot is set to go live on the right channels.  Now, go live with your suggestion bot!

Answer questions faster

You’re suggestion bot is now live! Customer service representatives will now receive suggested answers for all incoming queries containing your preset questions or variations thereof.  This means that thanks to our smart suggestions, representatives can provide customers with faster answers to their questions!

Employee onboarding

Thanks to the suggestion bot, new customer service employees can start out right away without having to go through a time-consuming onboarding process.  Because the suggestion bot provides suggested answers to the new representative, the representative is simultaneously learning about the correct answers to frequently asked questions. This doesn’t just help a new employee learn faster, it also saves time for their more experienced colleagues when it comes to onboarding.
